Doña Julia Golf Resort
The Doña Julia Golf Resort is a huge development
of 650 hectares (1,625 acres) featuring three 18-hole golf courses,
the first of which has already opened, two luxury hotels including
the prestigious 150 room 6-star Park Hyatt Casares as well as numerous
restaurants, bars, shops, an equestrian centre, football pitches
and a host of other sporting facilities.
The development runs along the Manilva/Casares
border from the coast to a point just north of the motorway and
follows the MA 546 Manilva to Casares road.
The Doña Julia Golf Resort project is being
overseen by the Evemarina Group who are a young company who are
also heavily involved with similar developments throughout Andalucia
and on Gran Canaria.
The project is divided into two phases, the first
of which began in 2003 and covers the construction of one 18-hole
golf course, the Park Hyatt Casares Hotel, and 2,000 dwellings on
numerous developments which are dealt with individually. Here is
