Queen Palm

Queen PalmSyagrus (formerly Arecastrum) romanzoffianum
Spanish: Cocos Plumosa

Height: 7.5-15 m
Spread: 4.5-7.5 m
Leaf: 45-90 cm

The Queen Palm has a grey stem and dark green feathery leaves and makes a very elegant tree.

Care: The Queen Palm prefers full sun and well-drained acidic soils. Avoid positions exposed to strong winds. Alkaline soils should also be avoided. Growth can be rapid in moist, fertilized conditions. Use restraint when pruning leaves.

This specimen can be found outside Carrefour in Estepona.
