The Councillor for Culture, Yolanda Holgado, is organising the “I Feria del Libro” (I Book Fair) to be held from Wednesday, 23rd to Sunday, 27th April 2008, to be held on the Paseo Maritimo in Sabinillas.

The Councillor is inviting participation in the event, and will be sending a letter to local businesses with full details of how to take part.

The fair is open to local commerce involved in the sale of books, etc., as well as those selling gifts, costume jewellery, ornaments, etc. Prices must be discounted for the purpose of the Fair.

Pitches are free, and can be reserved subject to provision of the following information:

Business name.
Proprietor’s name.
Address, telephone number and website address (if applicable).
Articles you intend selling.
Discount rate you intend to set for the Fair.
Size and composition of your stand.

The Culture Department reserves the right to reject any application, they also reserve the right to fill any empty pitches with other businesses from the municipality as well as those related to the theme of the “Book Fair”.
