Manilva Summer Fair
Manilva celebrates its annual summer fair each year during the second week of August. This year the dates are from Thursday, 11th August to Sunday, 14th August inclusive. Apart from the cavalcades most of the activities focus around the fairground on the Rio Manilva Road.

Programme

Please bear in mind timings are approximate and programme could be subject to last minute changes.

Thursday, 11th August

11.30 pm. Official switching on of the fairground illuminations.
12 midnight. Coronation of the Feria Queens and Maids of Honour who will then open the dancing with a typical pasodoble.
00.30 am. Music and dancing until the early hours in the official pavillion.

Friday, 12th August

8 pm. Parade through the streets of Manilva accompanied by the town band. Leaves from the Las Viñas sports centre, Manilva.
10 pm. Music and dancing until the early hours in the official pavillion.
11 pm. Performance by the Municipal Flamenco Dance School, directed by Inmaculada Chacon.

Saturday, 13th August

Parade through the streets  accompanied by the Manilva town band:
8.00 pm. Castillo de la Duquesa. Leaving from the Castle.
8.30 pm. Sabinillas leaving from the La Noria end of the village.
10 pm. Music and dancing until the early hours in the official pavillion.

Sunday, 14th August

10 pm Music and dancing in the official pavillion. Performance by Cristina Seguin Dance Academy.

Feria bus

As usual there will be a bus service which runs from Manilva - Restaurante San Rafael (opp. Hacienda Guadalupe) - Castillo de la Duquesa - Sabinillas (opp. Petrol Station) - Fairground
Times: Thursday leaves Manilva at 10 pm, 11 pm, midnight, and 1 pm; Leaves the Fairground at 10.45 pm, 11.45 pm, 00.45 am, 2.30 am, and 3.30 am.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday: leaves Manilva at 10 pm, 11 pm, midnight, and 1 pm; Leaves the Fairground at 10.45 pm, 11.45 pm, 00.45 am, 2.30 am, 3.30 am, and 4.30 am.
