Manilva Town Council's Promotion and Image department is inviting entries to a photography competition.

The competition is on the theme of pictures that capture the essence of the municipality of Manilva, and a first prize of €100 will be awarded in each of three categories:

1. Natural landscapes.

2. Daily life.

3. Picturesque locations.

Entries can be submitted up until 31st May, 2010, and the best 12 selected photos will go on display to the public from 8th June.

Images can be submitted through the website www.turismomanilva.com (click on the 'Concurso de fotografia' button in the left column). Entries must be a maximum of 2048x1536 pixels and no bigger than 3mb.

Entrants accept that any photographs submitted may be used on the Town Hall's websites or in any publication or promotional material.

All submitted photographs must be the property of the entrant and only one prize can be won by any entrant.

The competition organisers reserve the right to remove from the contest any photographs deemed unsuitable for any reason.
