Castillo de la Duquesa’s Plaza Miramar has recently undergone extensive re-modelling, at a cost of 26,000 euros, which culminated in an official inauguration ceremony yesterday.
Mario Jiménez, Manilva’s councillor for Infrastructure and Works was present as was the Mayoress Antonia Muñoz along with various other councillors, at the ceremony which concluded the project which included renewing the central square with seats, gardens and lighting as well as the installation of a statue of a fisherwoman, symbolising the village’s maritime traditions.
