Summer Feria
In the past Manilva, Sabinillas and Castillo de la Duquesa had their own summer feria, normally held around their respective Saint's Days. As from 2004 this has changed. Instead of three small fairs there will be one big feria held at the new fairground (recinto ferial) on the Sabinillas-Roman Baths road (turn off at the Gran Bar roundabout).
The Summer fair is held in the second week of August (this year from Wednesday 9th to Sunday 13th) and features a funfair, market and plenty of food and drink. There will also be music and entertainment including big name acts from the Spanish music world.
