Despite being only 20 kms from the Spanish coast, the moment you set foot in Morocco you will feel that you are a long way from Europe.
Travelling unaccompanied to the hustle and bustle of Tangier and beyond could leave you feeling anxious and confused. Which is the perfect reason to join your dependable hosts John and Lorraine, who will take away the anxiety, allowing you to relax and enjoy the party.

From start to finish we will make your 'Holiday jaunt' to Morocco a delightful and memorable experience. From a fascinating excursion to the mysteries of the ancient Medinas, where you can bargain for souvenirs of North African artefacts to the luxury of the five star El Minzah Hotel, a haven of peace at the end of a busy day.

ITINERARY
with a choice of 2 or 3 days stay

DAY ONE - Party rendezvous in Sabinillas at 9.30 am and travel in convoy to the port of Tarifa. Your hosts John and Lorraine will escort you aboard the hydrofoil, where you will sail club class, departing at 11.30 am for the 35 minute crossing to Africa.

We will be met by our private transport and driven to the 5* El Minzah Hotel to deposit our luggage, before taking a tour of the environs of Tangier, inlcuding the spectacular Cap Spartel - where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean (time for photos, so don't forget the camera!) - then on to the different international sections of Tangier and the Royal Palaces.

We return to our hotel for a quick snack before heading in the Medina, treading in the footsteps of Barbara Hutton, Gertrude Stein and William Burroughs, to shop for your special gift of leather, carpets or Moroccan artefacts.

In the evening we have an invitation to view some local art a a private drinks party in 'The Lawrence Arnott Gallery' see more... before dining in old Tangier.

We finish our day back at El Minzah for a nightcap in the wine bar before retiring.

DAY TWO (On 3 day itinerary) - After a leisurely breakfast on the 2nd day of your 3-day-break we will take a drive east of the the city, passinf along the bay of Tangier to the lighthouse at Cap Malabata, with excellent views of Tangier and the Straits of Gibraltar.

We then continue our journey to one of the more elegant Portuguese Atlantic ports; the picturesque town of Asilah, which is noted for it's many fine fish restaurants and it's old medina.

You will find the town of Asilah a welcome change from the hubbub of Tangier and you will be free to explore the medina and restaurants at your leisure.

We rendezvous late afternoon to make our return journey to El Minzah, with time for a short siesta before enjoying a private dinner party in Old Tangier.

FINAL DAY - After breakfast we have a morning at leisure, to sample the delights of the steam bath or health spa, or just time for more shopping!

We return to the port of Tangier after lunch for club class travel back to Tarifa on the hydrofoil - arriving back early evening.
