Sea School and Charter are an offical RYA motor cruiser training
centre based in Puerto de la Duquesa and cover a number of RYA
courses, ranging from Power Boat through Day Skipper to Yachtmaster.
One important fact to be aware
of is if you are a UK national wishing to use your boat in Spain,
the authorities require that you possess an ICC (International
Certificate of Competence). This can be obtained when completing
a practical course and assessment with Sun Coast. Call Clive or

About
the Nautical Section
In this section we hope to bring you as comprehensive a guide
as possible to sailing, boating and yachting, as well as a host
of other activities, such as diving, windsurfing, fishing, etc.
Included will be a guide to
Ports and Marinas, purchasing a
berth, message board, rules and regulations, local businesses
offering facilities and services, regattas and other events, in
fact whatever you want to know.
Although primarily centred
on the Manilva area, which includes the charming sport marina
at Puerto de la Duquesa, we plan to cover most of the western
Mediterranean as well as facilities in the Straits of Gibraltar,
and the Atlantic coast of Andalucia.
