Works have begun to transform the old Cruz Roja post in Castillo de la Duquesa into a much needed car park serving Castillo and Puerto de la Duquesa.

The project, which involves the demolition and clearing of the building, along with surfacing and signage, is expected to be completed in the first half of September.

Costs have been kept to a minimum as most of the work has been carried out by municipal employees.
